What does it mean that Jesus is the Lamb of God?
As we follow his final footsteps to the upper room on the night before his death, we see Jesus celebrate the Passover with his disciples. Jesus and disciples will eat a lamb, sacrificed for a ceremony with deep historical meaning.
But the meaning of this ceremony will help us understand why Jesus is called the Lamb of God, and why he gives his body and blood to eat at to drink.
